Learning Period 4 - Nov. 12 - Dec. 16

 The school year is broken up into Learning Periods.   We are starting our fourth learning period in just hours and I'm happy to report that our school dry erase board has been hung and we are one step closer to having an in home school room for myself, the teacher, and our two students.  Hooray!

This Learning Period we are going to focus on these goals:

A: will make sure to have no more than 50% of their math late for I Can Math and will send a weekly update to their Education Specialist each Friday of the LP - Nov. 15, 22, 29, Dec. 6, 13.

G: free write goal of writing at least 10 pages during the LP; stretching on ball daily and recording this on a chart for the LP

The children will continue to work in their Abigail Adams book doing science, social studies and writing assignments.   

The children will work in their respected math courses and make continual progress.  

A:  comprehension check review to see where they need help in reviewing materials to increase comprehension.  Use Khan Academy to review algebra for use in the content of I Can Math.  

G: using iReady to continue to understand place value.  Continue to practice basic math - addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems.

G will continue work on speech goals with pronunciation.

G will work on their stretching protocols for other parts of their body besides the ball stretch.

A will take the HELLO cooking course.

A will work with mom to set up field trips to car museums and prepare interview questions before leaving.  A will do a write up of the trip afterwards.

G will continue to take the HELLO graphing art course.

Mom will do hours with her Virtual Assistant job and continue to guide the kids with their studies.    Mom will assist children with evidence of learning samples to be presented to Mrs. N at the end of the LP.
