Fentanyl and Abigail Adams
Today we covered many different topics for school two of which were the importance of avoiding fentanyl and how Abigail Adams influenced John Adams and the creation of the country. Why did these two topics come up for us today? One, I don't want my 9 and 14 year old to be caught off guard with the dangers of fentanyl when I'm not there to protect them. I also want to submit some evidence of learning so we are going through a biography of Abigail Adams to learn about what life was like in colonial america. (I am purposefully writing america is lowercase) The kids are enrolled in a charter school. Two times a year we have to submit copies of their work for the five subjects that the charter school expects them to be learning. We are fulfilling this requirement this month and posting images of their work to the portfolio feature online.
